What Makes Fox Den Concierge Unique?

First and foremost, Fox Den Concierge is a personalized service not an agency.  When you hire Fox Den you receive services directly from its founder, Lynn Catanzaro, or one of her highly esteemed assistant concierges. She does not have a fleet of people on hand to “do” work for her clients. Lynn has a select group of talented individuals (all of whom she has known for 10+ years) who can assist her clients if she is unavailable or when one of their special talents better align with a client’s needs.  Fox Den is about serving clients and developing client relationships – this comes by earning your trust every day.

Lynn realizes that this is a very intimate business – going into people’s homes and lives.  She feels honored to be trusted by her clients and their families.

Fox Den founder and concierge, Lynn Catanzaro, turned her passion for helping others into a business tailored to help seniors live independently and to provide peace of mind for their families who may not have the time or ability to be there. Lynn serves as a trustworthy and reliable resource as well as a communication liaison to loved ones.

Sometimes it takes a Village…

My professional background

I was fortunate to have a successful career spanning 25+ years in corporate America, working predominantly for global and national law firms based in the New York metropolitan area. I served as a senior executive focused on public relations, marketing and client relationship management.  I managed a staff ranging from one to 20+ professionals and supported hundreds of attorneys worldwide. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree and MBA. Launching a senior concierge business is a passion born from my personal experiences.

An east coast gal at heart

I’m originally from the east coast and lived in New Jersey, Massachusetts and Florida. I have resided in Scottsdale, Arizona for the past 16 years. After relocating from New Jersey, I grew to love the desert.  My late husband and I raised our two children here and decided that this was HOME. I still love to travel back east but have grown to delight in the endless blue skies, sunshine and warmth of the Sonoran Desert.

What makes me tick

I have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, South America and northern Africa.  My hobbies include adventure travel, skiing, hiking, scrapbooking and volunteering.  I am actively involved in my community and am a member of the National Charity League, Scottsdale Chapter, where I served on the Board of Directors as the Vice President of Philanthropy.  I volunteer regularly at Hospice of the Valley, The Singletons, Feed My Starving Children, Miracle League of Arizona, and Arizona Magic of Music & Dance.

In addition, I manage income properties in New Jersey and Arizona.

What drives my passion?  My life’s journey.

I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to start a concierge business;
the concierge business found me – it’s truly a Calling.

The experience I bring to you is very personal.

A Mother’s (and Father’s) Work is Never Done…

While raising two children, I have experienced being a working mom, a “stay-at-home” mom, a widow, and a single mom – regardless of which path you’re on, I know the To Do list is never-ending and the demands on your time are endless.  The stress of having too much to do often eclipses our ability to focus on what matters most.

When life throws curve balls…

I have experienced first-hand the personal grief of losing several loved ones and understand all too well the enormous aftermath that ensues – the paperwork, the phone calls, the bills, the estate, the legal issues, the frustration – and all of this needs to be administered while coping with grief and still managing the mounting tasks of everyday life. This is often coupled with the added complexity of being alone. For loved ones who live far away, I understand the stress and worry of not being there.

Caring for a Senior Loved One…

Several years ago, I was responsible for an elderly uncle who lived out of state and wanted nothing more than to remain in his home - independent and in control of his life.  This HOME was everything to him – it was the home he grew up in and was the home he returned to after serving in the Korean War.  He needed a helping hand to manage his household, as well as compassion, respect and kindness.  However, this helping hand didn’t exist.  Well, a “helping hand” showed up but she was a predator and, thankfully, I discovered her scheme before too much damage was done. This experience ignited my passion and concern for seniors. Integrity and trustworthiness cannot be underestimated.

My next chapter…

My son and daughter are both in college. As a soon-to-be empty nester, I decided to start my next chapter, find a renewed purpose, and pursue my dream of being self-employed and helping others.

The twists and turns of my life have given me a unique perspective and hard-earned experience that can help others in similar circumstances.

From these experiences, Fox Den Concierge was born – helping my clients navigate the twists and turns of their lives.

Testimonials

We have known Lynn for 10+ years. Our daughters were competitive dancers together and through this relationship our families bonded.  We have traveled together many times to Disney and Hawaii and have enjoyed family time there.  Lynn’s late husband, Glenn, was our good friend.  Her business venture is a labor of love to honor her late husband and support families who need a helping hand.

I met Lynn several years ago through her affiliation with the National Charity League, Scottsdale Chapter.  Lynn served on the NCL Board of Directors and was the liaison to Hospice of the Valley.  She organized many philanthropic endeavors that aided in the comfort and joy of hospice patients throughout the Valley.  She also organized volunteer staffing for the White Dove Thrift Shoppe that financially supports HOV’s mission.  I value Lynn’s organization skills, her trustworthiness and her compassion.  She is truly a champion for those in need!
